This lovely ride starts in Civray-de-Touraine, a quiet village nestled in the heart of the Loire Valley, just south of the Cher River and near the famous Château de Chenonceau. Leaving Civray, you’ll cruise along mostly peaceful country roads and the occasional cycling path, winding through vineyards and gentle farmland typical of the region.

The route climbs and descends gently, with just over 120 meters of ascent and descent, so nothing too steep or technical. Most of your journey is on smooth asphalt, with some stretches where the surface isn’t marked but is still quite rideable. The traffic is super light, so you'll have plenty of chances to soak in the scenery.

You’ll roll into Amboise, a town known for its striking château perched above the Loire and as Leonardo da Vinci’s final home.
