This ride takes you from the historic city of Avignon to the Roman gem of Nîmes—a classic route linking two Provençal favorites! You’ll cover about 52 kilometers mostly on quiet roads, with gentle rolling hills and a couple of easy climbs (nothing over 70 meters elevation). Expect a mostly smooth surface: about half paved all the way, though you’ll hit a few sections of looser gravel—nothing an average road or hybrid bike can’t handle.
