Jednodniowa wycieczka rowerowa z Valtice do Lednice

This scenic ride takes you from Valtice to Lednice, two jewels of South Moravia’s UNESCO-listed Lednice–Valtice Cultural Landscape. It’s about 24 km long, mostly on quiet roads, cycle tracks, and some easy gravel sections, so it’s great for a laid-back ride with plenty of time for sightseeing.

Start your journey in Valtice, famous for its impressive Baroque chateau (don’t miss the wine cellars!). As you pedal north, you’ll cruise through rolling vineyards, charming villages, and patches of forest—keep an eye out for historic follies and beautiful views.

The route is mostly flat with just a few gentle climbs (around 138 meters of ascent), so it’s suitable for most cyclists. Surfaces are mainly paved, but there are short stretches of gravel to give you that proper countryside feel.
