If you’re in the mood for an epic Norwegian adventure, the ride from Oslo to Trondheim is all about incredible scenery, endurance, and that unbeatable feeling of crossing a country by bike. Starting in Oslo, Norway’s buzzing capital set on the Oslofjord, you’ll head northwest on a journey of over 660 km all the way to Trondheim—another historic city, known for its beautiful Nidaros Cathedral and lively student vibe.

Get ready for a good mix of surfaces—expect plenty of quiet roads (over half the route!), with stretches of cycleway to keep you rolling in comfort. You’ll wind your way through forest, farmland, and mountain passes, so don’t be surprised if your legs start talking back: there’s over 9,000 meters of climb before you coast down into Trondheim. Some parts may be unpaved or gravel, adding a little adventure (and mud) to your story.
