This is a gorgeous ride starting in Trento, a lively city known for its Renaissance architecture and mountain views. From here, you’ll hop on a dedicated cycleway heading south through the lush Adige valley, cruising past apple orchards and vineyards—with the mountains as your backdrop.

Almost the entire 45 km route is paved (so you’re safe with your road bike), and you’ll spend most of the time on quiet cycle paths, making it super relaxing. There’s a gentle ascent out of Trento, but mostly it’s a mellow ride with more downhill than up—especially as you approach the glistening shores of Lake Garda.

Your finish is in Torbole sul Garda, a beautiful lakeside town famous for windsurfing and its stunning views of the lake surrounded by cliffs. Grab a gelato or dip your toes in the lake to celebrate! This is one of the most scenic and enjoyable rides in northern Italy, perfect for a sunny day.
