This scenic route takes you from the beautiful lakeside town of Como all the way to the lively heart of Milan, covering around 63 kilometers. Starting in Como, you’ll get to enjoy views of the lake and the gorgeous surrounding hills—Como is famous for its elegant villas and charming old town, so it’s worth taking a bit of time to soak in the atmosphere before you start pedaling.

You’ll head south, mostly on paved cycleways and quiet roads, with a gentle ascent at first and more descent as you approach Milan. Roughly two-thirds of the ride is on smooth asphalt, but be ready for a couple of gravelly patches and some stretches where the surface isn’t perfect.

The closer you get to Milan, the more the scenery shifts from rural and lakeside to urban. Milan itself is Italy’s style capital, home to iconic sights like the Duomo and historic cafés. With a nice balance of nature and city, this is a great ride if you want a mix of tranquility and urban excitement!
