Here’s a great quick ride if you want to see some of Barcelona’s most iconic neighborhoods without breaking a sweat. You start in Ciutat Vella, the historic heart of the city—think winding gothic streets, tapas bars, and street performers at every turn. From there, you’ll cruise mostly on smooth cycleways and quiet roads (fantastic for less-stress cycling!) toward Sants-Montjuïc.

It’s a short route—just about three and a half kilometers—so you’ll have plenty of energy left to explore when you arrive. Enjoy a gentle climb at first, followed by a nice little descent into Sants-Montjuïc, which is famous for the sprawling Montjuïc hill, green parks, and some of Barcelona’s top museums.

The path is almost all asphalt or paving stones, so it’s a comfortable ride. Perfect for a quick city adventure or to connect you to further exploring up Montjuïc!
