This ride takes you from the leafy neighborhoods of Budapest’s II. kerület up to the village of Üröm, just on the outskirts of the city. Starting in one of Budapest’s greenest (and most upscale) districts, you’ll cruise through quiet roads—the route is mostly paved and pretty mellow, with plenty of space to enjoy the ride.

The route covers nearly 18 km and features a healthy amount of climbing (about 290 meters up and 310 meters down), giving your legs a solid workout! Along the way, you’ll pass through scenic suburban streets, some patches of woodland, and a few open areas where you can catch glimpses of the Buda hills.

Üröm itself is a charming village that gives you a feel for the peaceful countryside—yet it’s just a stone’s throw from Budapest.
