La strada bianca

Starting on the Col de la Croix road, you take a right at km 5 towards Coufin. This is followed by a climb with some quite steep sections to the beautiful hamlet of Taveyanne.From here, there’s an unpaved section of 1.5 km with a slight climb to Les Chaux (1755 m). Here, you can admire the views of the Dents du Midi and the Rhône valley from the terrace of Les Chaux restaurant. Then there’s a steep, windy descent to Barboleuse before the final flat section to Villars.
