Allanche to Lavaudieu

Overall, pretty good route. The roughly five kilometer climb starting on D9 from Allanche to the Col de Baladour (1207M) was a good challange, especially as the climb started immediately from leaving the village.

The descent on D21 was a long one, pretty much all the wasy to Massiac. The road had very little traffic. From Massiac, it was flat for a few kilometers along D909 to the turnoff for D588 east. The first part of D588 was a climb to where this small no-traffic road became a major road east to Brioude. Most of the rest of the way to Brioude was downhill.

The remainder of the ride on D20 was perfect low-traffic country road.

Overall, great ride with wonderful scenery.
