Clermont l'Hérault to Ceilhes-et-Rocozels

D8 was an outstanding and challenging route. We highly recommend it, but try to do it on a cool day. For the first time in years, I ran out of energy and cramped up some from the heat. We also had gale force head winds; it was a struggle to make it up the last few meters to this Col de la Merquière pushing against both the slope and the headwind.
