Montpeyroux - Circle through Gorges-de-l'Hérault and St-Jean-de-Buèges

This was a very challenging ride. Not because of riding through the Gorges-de-l'Hérault, but rather the 15 to 20 kilometers along D122. It had some very steep climbs, and pretty much all of the road was one-lane, occasionally a little rocky, and not in good repair. We rode this in late October 2024; hopefully it will eventually get resurfaced.

If you're up for D122, you'll enjoy the scenery and the challenge. Great overall ride.

We have very little or no traffic on all roads. As this was late October, there were very few visitors to the Gorges. Probably this part of the ride would have much more traffic during the summer.
