A pleasant ride (18 kms one way) from Bairnsdale along the Mitchell River to Eagle Point and then to the end of the Silt Jetties (longest in the Southern Hemisphere) The main road to Eagle Point is sealed, carries a fair amount of traffic but has a reasonable verge. The last 6 km's to the end of the Silt Jetties is unsealed and can be quite rough
