Go from Doolin up along the Coastline, past the sandy Beach of Fanore, Black Head, Ballyvaughan, past Corcomroe Abbey, through some amazing limestone pavements - including a detour downhill again towards Ballyvaughan, but turn left beforehand. Enjoy the climb up Corkscrew Hill and why not take the detour past Doonagore Castle (rather steep descent!) and down to the pier where the ferries depart for the Aran Islands.
