Helgeland Route 11 Brønnøysund - Vega

Vega is a bike-mecca with approximately 100 km roads, which also leads to scenic hiking and swimming. The world heritage site on Vega island is a deep-dive in the northern Norwegian cultural history and distinctive coastal scenery. Take the expressboat from Brønnøysund or ferry from Horn. On the road to Horn, we recommend a stop at Northern Norway's only food and herb farm, app. 8 km from downtown Brønnøysund.

Along the road from Igerøy to Kirkøy you can stop at Nes and see "Gateway to the World Heritage", or you can visit one of the restaurants on Vega and get a culinary experience. Rent kayak and take a kayaking trip in unique surroundings. You can also take the express boat from Brønnøysund to "Himmelblåøya» Ylvingen before taking the expressboat to Rørøy on Vega.
