Pievebovigliana

Start this route in the small town of Fiastra just above Lago di Fiastra. To shorten the route slightly you can start further up the road at the Agroturismo Le Cassette. To lengthen the route; instead of cycling towards Fordimente after Nemi turn down to Arciano and follow the road until it turns right to Pieve Torino. Cycle from Pieve Torino to the SS77 and then on to Pontelatrave, where there is a Roman bridge and back to Pievebovigliana - 40 km and 890m.

The major climb is at the end of the route but it is graded. There are spectuacular views of Umbria on the way down. Cool off in Lago di Fiastra afterwards!
