West Salton Railway Track to River Esk then Portobello

A relatively easy and fun route. Includes the seaside, a river bank, a grain tower or two, the country, the city and sandy beaches..lots and lots to like about this route. This can be ridden almost entirely off the road most of the way..there is a tiny section of quiet road, and you have to cross it in a few spots- so be aware ESPECIALLY when the railway line crosses the road from Pencaitland, it can be fast traffic.
