Es wird bis an fahrbare Ende des Rappenalptals gefahren, also auch noch an der Unteren Biberalpe vorbei bis zum höchsten anfahrbaren Punkt bei einer Speicherhütte auf ca. 1480m. Bis Birgsau ist die Tour harmlos und durchaus auch familientauglich. Danach wird es steil. Die Tour ist bis zur Unteren Biberalpe auch mit dem Rennrad befahrbar.
