After a visit to the Chapel of Virgin Mary (11th Century!) at Miriokefala we pass down to the former dorian city state of Lappa or Argyroupolis and see the waterfalls below the village. Next stopover would be the only freshwater lake of Crete, the Kournas Lake for a relaxing swim. Georgioupolis is near and has fine sandy beaches. Via Dramia, Episkopi we head to the ending point which is the village of Atsipopoulo.
