Romania-Humorului to Brasov

Overall, this is a very scenic route between the Maramures area and Transylvania. An alternate and equally fun way is to go through the Bicaz Gorge but there is more traffic on that road.  From Humor to Vatra Dornei, it is a major highway with excellent paving and there is a wide shoulder good for cycling about 90% of the way. It narrows near Iocabeni. It follows a river and is quite scenic.  After Vatra Dornei, the smaller road with no shoulder is very scenic as it follows a river valley. Traffic is minimal although there are some trucks. Paving is mostly of good quality. There are Pensiuneas scattered along the route with restaurants. Don't remember seeing grocery stores or even mini markets. Traffic picks up closer to Brasov and it was a bit scary getting to the old city.
