La Syrah (Caromb) - La Roque Alric

Mountainous climbs through LeBaroux then on to La Roque-Alric, and time for a well-earned (I make the ascent 342m) lunch at the very excellent L'Acacia en Provence resturant. Mostly downhil back home via the canal de carpentras, (road bikes might want to take the Chemin du Coulnet instead). There is 400m of gravel path when we turn off Ave Joseph Vernet, road bike users might like to stay on the main road instead. Be very wary of the apparent short-cuts back down from the D90A to St Hippolyte, most of these seem to be VTT at best.
