Goldern-Morrison-Deer Cr Rd-Evergreen-Golden

The ride from Golden down around Evergreen is on very quiet and scenic roads. After going through Red Rocks and the town of Morrison, the route goes south on Hay 8 and crosses 285, meandering through quiet neighborhoods, until connecting with Deer Creek Canyon.  There is a should most of the way up Deer Creek Canyon.  High Grade and Pleasant Park are very quiet.  After Evergren to the turn off to Lookout Mtn on HWY 70, the route is very busy.   An alternative route would be to head down Hwy 74 from Evergreen and cut over to Genesee on Grapevice Rd or back to Morrison and Red Rocks.
