Circuit of Montagne de Vuache - 25k

Follows trail shown on www.pay-du-vuache.fr website with 10 'stations' of interest. Follows small roads and not too hilly around the Montagne du Vuache - near Bellegarde sur Valserine, to the east of Geneva (but in France). At the time we went around the route there had been a slip of the road near the northern end with 'route bloquée' signs up.  Fortunately it was a Sunday and the repair site was closed and we were able to lift our bikes across the barriers at each end. The slip itself was safely barriered off. There are cafes in Frangy and Murcier; also a restaurant in Chaumont - but not willing to admit cyclists at lunchtime on Sunday, but it was busy.
