O tej trasie
Auf den Spuren des Wassers geht es von der Mündung des Zillers im Inntal bei Straß bis hinauf zum Schlegeisspeichersee.
Die Route folgt, wo es asphaltiert möglich ist, größtenteils dem Zillertal-Radweg. Der flache Beginn der Tour sollte nicht darüber hinweg täuschen, daß spätestens nach Mayrhofen "Schluß mit lustig ist" und es dann ordentlich zur Sache bzw. in die Höhe geht ;) Dort winkt dann hochalpiner Genuß: auf Rennrad Bereifung.
Wer keine engen, langen Tunnel mit hautnaher Autoberührung mag, der sollte den letzten Abschnitt bis ganz hinauf zum Stausee allerdings unbedingt vermeiden.
Für alle Radler empfiehlt sich wegen der vielen dunklen Passagen in Tunneln und Galerien im Bergland auf jeden Fall die Mitnahme eines Rücklichts. Safety first ;)
