Lablachère mit dem Fahrrad

In 2019, we did self-supported touring for a little less than 2 months from mid-September through early November. Day 15 - Lablachère - Circle to Peyre This was a wonderful ride on outstanding roads with great climbs and descents. The scenery was outstanding. The Ardèche deserves its reputation for beauty. We highly recommend this ride.

In 2019, we did self-supported touring for a little less than 2 months from mid-September through early November. Day 16 - Lablachère to Le Béage Overall, this was a great ride. The first part was OK; the latter half was spectacular. D104 to Aubenas had plenty of traffic, but it wasn't bad. Off and on, there was some shoulder, and the last ten or twelve kilometers into Aubenas had great shoulder. There also appear to be some parallel roads that we could have used. N102, with the excepton of the several short tunnels close to Aubenas, wasn't a bad road. There was of course some traffic, but it definitely could have been worse. And N102 was relatively scenic. The best roads were D16, D289, and D122. These were all excellent and had very little traffic. During the ride, we passed the Col de la Baricaude at 1257M and the Col des 4 Chemins at 1260M. We particularly recommend these areas northwest of Aubenas.
