Tagesausflug mit dem Fahrrad von Kronstadt nach Rosenau

Avoid the busy road and take this back road if you want to go by bike from Brasov to Rasnov. Start from Piata Sfatului, down on Muresenilor street, Lunga street, de Mijloc Street, left on Morii street until you reach Lunga street, cross it to Carierei street and follow it until you reach the a poor neighbourhood. Don't worry, the gypsies here are friendly, just salute them and wave :) Reach the end of the asphalt road, take the turn right on to the gravel road, follow it to the houses until you reach asphalt road them straight ahead and follow it to the right then after you passed the chicken factories on the left there is a grass area. Leave the asphalt road there, enter the forest - watch out for mud - go across it keeping right, climb a small hill and descent onto a large meadow, keep the tracks to a concrete fence on the left, go around the bushes and follow the tracks until you reach a railway. Go across it, left and immediately right, pass the construction and across a long meadow, parallel to the train tracks. Reach the houses, leave them on your right side, follow the gravel road until you reach an asphalt / concrete road. Go left until you reach some ruins on your right side. Go right through the ruins about 100 meters, across a gap with bushes and you're into another meadow. Find the tracks that go to Rasnov, parallel to the forest. There is a small portion of single track until you reach some houses and pass two very small ponds / lakes. From here it's simple. Just follow the path under the trees and near the houses until you reach the Sissi Promenade in Rasnov. Cross it, pass the Promenada Restaurant, follow Teilor street, near the school, at the roundabout take left and you should see the tunnel and above it the city center. From here, you can look for the elevator that takes up to the Rasnov fortress. You can leave your bike in the yard, near the elevator. Enjoy this track and stay safe! Only for MTB. Traseu ce pornește din Poiana Mică a Poienii Brașovului, trece pe lângă Stâna Turistică, intră pe Valea Sticlăriei, întâlnește șoseaua dintre Râșnov și Poiana Brașov apoi intră pe poteca marcată cu bandă albastră, și trece pe la Bisericuța Păgânilor, un grup de stânci cu forme ciudate. Mai departe traseul este cel folosit în duatlonul Țara Bârsei din 30 iunie 2013. Finalul este în Valea Cărbunării, în apropiere de trambuline. De aici, cu bicicleta, se poate ajunge în 10 minute în centrul orașului Râșnov.
