Über diese Route

Glen Coe is one of the most famous and most scenic of the Highland Glens and is a walkers paradise. There is an abundance of fantastic scenery but also has a turbulent history being the site of the famous Glencoe massacre. The glen is guarded by the towering Buachaille Etive Mor (where Skyfall was filmed) and the serious mountaineer will be tempted to summit Bidean nam Bian, also known as the 'Three Sisters', whereas the north wall of the glen is the turreted and notorious ridge of the Aonach Eagach. There are many easier routes around the area that take in the fantastic views for those with no head for heights. This route is one of the most popular - a short but steep trail to Sgorr na Ciche or The Pap of Glencoe with commanding views.
