Vammen Camping Bicycle Route 5 Snæbum

This 40 km out-and-back cycling route starts at Vammen Camping and leads you through forests, farmland, and small villages with both natural beauty and historical interest. The route passes Bigum and Lindum Forests, associated with the historic Tjele Manor, and through the quaint villages of Klejtrup and Hvornum.

Along the way, you can visit a local bird park (check the special brochure in the campsite kiosk), and the highlight of the tour is the ancient passage graves near Snæbum. These prehistoric burial chambers are located beside a white farmstead just outside the village, and offer a glimpse into Denmark’s distant past.
