The Viking Trail

This was a trip organized int the summer of 2011 by my brother and sister in laws Rob and Deb Harley.  There were 22 or so of their friends and relatives along.  A support vehicle was involved and we stayed in motels so loads were light.  Part of the trip on the west side of the peninsula was by boat from Englee to Jackson Arm with one night's stay at a lodge at Great Harbour Deep, an abandoned fishing port accessible only by boat and snowmobile.  Not much elevation gain or loss since we mostly were seaside but some good climbs between Deer Lake and Woody Point which does not appear on this map but is located across the bay from Norris Point.
