IndianMills - Hans Creek Loop

A hilly loop in Eastern Summers and Western Monroe Counties.  Plenty of vistas, but lots of climbing to view them.  Start at the Bluestone Wildlife Management Area office in Indian Mills.

Note: There are two open grid medal deck bridges on the route 25/2 -25 section of the ride.  One about midway and the other just before the intersection with State 122.

My Garmin showed 2,900 feet of climbing.

•  0.0  0.0 Start Head South on 33/2
•  2.9  2.9 Left on Co. 23/7 Begin steep climb.
•  5.3  2.4 Left on Co. 24 Pinhook Road
•  8.0  2.7 Left on State 12
•  8.4  0.4 Right on Co.  33, Orchard Rd.  No sign at this intersection.  Sign on opposite side for Co. 22.  There is a store just before the turnoff where you can get food and water.
•  9.1  0.7 Right on 27/2 Pine Grove - Bunker Hill Road.
• 13.3  4.2 Bare Right on Co. 27.
• 16.6  0.3 Left on 25/5 Blue Lick Rd. Runs into Co. 25 Begin steep narrow descent.
• 18.9  2.3 Right to continue on 25 - Hans Creek Rd.
• 22.0  3.1 Left on State 122.
• 23.7  1.7 Right on Co. 19 Baker Hill Rd.  Intial pavement is not good, but only last for 1/2 mile.  STEEP 1 mile Climb
• 25.1 1.4 Left on Co. 19 Little Stoney Creek Rd.
• 25.7  0.6 Left on Co. 17/2 Ben Vass Road  Another steep climb on this section.  Just past this turnoff (off the route) is a country store.
• 27.8  2.1 Right on State 122
• 29.6  1.8 Left on State 12.
• 31.1  1.5 Right on Co. 21/2
• 34.1  3.0 Finish.
