Just before you get to Montefortino is a petrol station. you can park opposite it. This route takes you past the medieval hilltop towns of Montefortino and Montemonaco with spectacular views of the Sibillini Mountains including Vettore.On the way back you can enjoy views down onto the town of Montefortino. Just before arriving back in Montefortino you will arrive at the junction for Madonna dell'Ambro. Turn left here to visit the church. There is refreshment available there and a nice spot for a picnic. Otherwise turn right to return to Montefortino.
