Mainly suited to recreational riders and family groups.
This is a shared route with pedestrians and lots of dog walkers and joggers. Be prepared to slow down when passing. Highly advisable to have a bell to warn other users.
The south side of the route along the river is the most picturesque and the Brockholes visitors centre is worth a look.
