Über diese Route

Spectacular views looking back at Arran as you climb out of the port at Claonaig. The following road was not too busy. Another climb out of Talbert, and then a wonderful flat stretch up the A89 to Lochgilphead.

The inland section to Kilmartin has some long, disspiriting climbs.

Stop at the shop in Kilmelford to stock up: there's another big climb out of this village.
