2016 Ride Day 94 - Marvejols to Mayres

This was an outstanding ride on mostly zero and low traffic roads. D1 was simply excellent for the entire time we were on it. Even N88 and N102 had some road shoulder and wasn't too bad despite the traffic.

Going from west to east had plenty of climbing, but little of it was terribly steep. Had we gone from east to west, though, the 10 kilometers of 10% or more climb from Mayres and the 15% sections on D1 would have been a serious challenge.

The high point of the ride was a little above 1425M at the Col de Charpal on D1, which had no sign to take a photo of.
