Cycletour 2002 Dunnet Head - EdinburghTogether with Kjell Sponås 30.04 Traveled from Molde to Stavanger. Was picked up by Kjell at the airport. The bike blew off the roof on the way from the airport and home to Kjell where I was staying. Heavy rain and wind. 1.5 Took a taxi to the airport and fly to Aberdeen. There were a few hours until we took the train to Inverness. There we were also a few hours before we got up to Thurso. There we were picked up by a taxi that drove us up to the northern tip of mainland Scotland - Dunnet Head where we stayed at B & B. Strategic space during World War II. 2.05 Bike to Lairg. Heavy winds the first 80 km. Dunnet Head - Lairg 155 km. 3.05 Lairg - Inverness 115 km. 4.05 Day off in Inverness 5.05 Bike from Inverness to Turiff. Be in the Hay grave of Elgin, and Hay Castle - Delagtie Castle near Turiff. Inverness - Turiff 176 km 6.05 Turiff - Stonehaven 147 km 7.05 Stonehaven - Kinross 147 km 8.05 Kinross - Edinburgh 50 km Arrival at 11 o'clock. 09.05 Fun day in Edinburgh 10.05 Took the train to Aberdeen where we stayed. 11.05 Went from Aberdeen at the 10th time, the middle east of Oslo.
