Off-road cycleway route. Access to Prospect Dam is only available during Dam opening hours (see Sydney Water website). Cycleway has a temporary crossing through where Boral have destroyed one of Sydney's best off-road cycleways to extend Reservoir Rd.

  1. Interessanter Ort nach 0,9 km

    Boral's shameful destruction of Sydney's Best off-road cycleway. Cycleway previously continued along here, now diverts down hill and back up, with a 4 lane highway crossing at grade proposed by Boral. Initially, Boral and local politicians promised a bridge at the cycleway grade. Shame Boral and shame to the politicians.

  2. Interessanter Ort nach 10,2 km

    Railway Freight line is active. Lookout for trains around 1pm, 6:30 pm (and some other times).

  3. Interessanter Ort nach 11,9 km

    Awkward turn, lookout for cyclist approaching from out of the dark under the Horsley Drive. Steep grades on both sides of the narrow bridge across creek; path over bridge is also badly cracked.

  4. Interessanter Ort nach 16,1 km

    If you want to avoid roads, the cycleway continues north here alongside Prospect Creek. Prospect Rd is a quiet local road with good shoulders, outside of School Zone times.
