Die Route führt von Verl über Hövelhof zu den Emsquellen und von dort über Stukenbrock und Lipperreihe nach Verl zurück.

Im Wesentlichen verläuft die Strecke über Nebenstraßen und asphaltierte Radwege sowie teilweise über nicht asphaltierte Wege.
