Über diese Route

Funtana (tal. Fontane) is located between Poreč and Vrsar, it owes its name to the water spring ( fountain) once found here. This easy bike tour leads through the Karcavela area, north of Funtana, through the tame landscape of manicured fields and Mediterranean forests. We arrive to the main road Vrsar – Poreč (please be cautious when crossing ), after which we continue along the road on the frim dirt path. Asphalt path winds by the Bijela uvala camping and further along the coast back to Funtana. In summer months, it is a good idea to bring the bathing suites and stop for short swim at one of the newly renovated beaches. Good and wide gravel roads and asphalt roads with scarce traffic make this tour simple and easy to ride.
