Über diese Route

This ride takes you from South Surrey along trails through the Delta Watershed and Burns Bog to the Alex Fraser Bridge. You connect with the trails off of Colebrook Road north of 125A Street. You will enter a gravel pathway on your right. Immediatly after passing under the #10 Highway overpass turn left and use the cycling overpass to get over the railway tracks and continue on the trail to the Alex Fraser Bridge. This takes you on to Annasis Island. Watch for traffic then cross the road and continue on the cycling path over the next bridge. At the end of this bridge you will descend a ramp to the roadway. At the bottom of the ramp turn right and ride west. Keep your eyes open for the cycling path on the left hand side of the road. Follow this pathway all the way to the Lefarge Cement plant then turn right towrds Westminster Highway.

 

Turn left on the highway. You will eventually see a cycling path on the left of the road.

Follow this path to Sidaway Road where you will turn left and ride to Steveston Highway.

Turn right on Steveston and then get on to the sidewalk on the left hand edge of the road by the vegetable stand.

 Follow the sidewalk to the left past the bus stop, past the Richmond Tourist Information building and on to Rice Mill Road. Turn right to #6 Road, left to River Road then follow River Road all the way to Steveston. Youe fish and chips await you at Pajos on the float. After lunch ride the west dyke all the way to Airport Way then to the bus loop at River Rock Casino. Load your bikes on the 351 and enjoy the ride back home.
