Glimsi's Wonders

Easy evening cycling. The trail starts with the nice Lammaslampi Pond view at the Dock. Goes through the forestry Park area and follows the Ainontie's lovely farm milieu. The trail then follows the Pitkäjärvi Lake's bank up to the Lähdepuro's Sports Center. Follow the Pitkäjärventie until the Träskända Manor's Gazebo that lies up on the hill. 

The trail continues through the Träskända Manor's Garden area and merges to Kuninkaantie. There's a lovely farm milieu view on the Ingasksentie's Bridge of the Glimsinjoki River as well as the surroundings.

If you like you may also travel the Glimsinjoki's Nature Trail that follows the Glimsinjoki River, the Nature Trail starts from the Träskända Manor's Garden. Nature Trail can be cycled, but it has occasionally tree roots sticking out from the ground that might not be ideal. The Nature Trail travels through Ingaksentie's milieu and continues towards the Ingaksenmetsä area. Trail gets narrower along the way, might be muddy, so don't recommend it for a cycler. 

Kuninkaantie ends up at Bemböle's School, which is also a nice architectural sight along the way. Close by there's also a lovely old farmhouse courtyard that has cafe services, the place is called Bemböle's Kahvitupa. There's also a Grill for a quick snack if needed. The view opens up across the fields, on the horizon you can get a glimpse of Espoo's IKEA. On the other side of the Turuntie, you can visit the Glimsinjoki's Old Stone Bridge, a historical landmark. Upon the hill, there's also a historical Glims House that is a part of Espoo's Museums exhibitions.
