Il percorso è adatto sia a stradisti, sia a "gravellisti", e non comporta un dispendio fisico esagerato raggiungendo in breve tempo Castiglion Fiorentino per uno stop per ammirare il borgo ed eventualmente visitare la Biblioteca del Ciclista e ripartire alla volta di Arezzo affrontando una strada con una salita costante ma non impegnativa con una vista unica sulla vallata.
