Excursión ciclista de un día de Salzburgo a Bischofshofen

It’s about 60 km and while you’ll definitely feel the 850 m of climbing, most of the ride is on paved roads and smoother cycleways with gorgeous views of the Salzach River, distant mountains, and plenty of lush countryside. Expect a great mix of quiet backroads and scenic paths, with just enough busy sections to keep it interesting. There are a few gravel stretches, so sturdy tires are a good call!

Salzburg is always worth a little exploration before you set out, especially its baroque old town.
