Mostly on quiet roads and forest tracks (with some gravel mixed in, so a sturdy bike is best), you’ll cut through lush forests and rolling hills before reaching the Elbe plain. About three-quarters of the route is paved or asphalt, so it’s pretty comfortable riding.
