Excursión ciclista de un día de Rublëvo a Fili

This cycling route takes you from Rublëvo, a peaceful northwestern suburb known for its leafy streets and proximity to the Moscow River, all the way to Fili, a lively historical district on Moscow’s western edge. Covering just under 30 km, this ride is a great way to see Moscow’s evolving neighborhoods away from the bustle of the city center.

The route winds across mostly paved and asphalt roads, with the occasional stretch of quiet residential streets and a handful of unpaved sections—nothing too wild, but expect a bit of adventure! There’s a gentle climb along the way (total ascent of about 200 meters), but nothing that will knock the wind out of your sails.

Along your ride, you’ll see a nice mix of parks, classic Soviet architecture, and modern developments. Fili itself is worth exploring at the end; it’s famous for its beautiful park and the iconic Baroque church, as well as its green spaces along the Moscow River embankment.
