You’ll roll out from the historic center—right where the iconic Red Square and Kremlin are just a stone’s throw away—heading northeast through a mix of bustling urban streets and surprisingly peaceful side roads.

The route’s mostly smooth riding, with about 95% paved surfaces and lots of stretches on designated cycleways and quiet roads—so you can relax and soak up the changing cityscapes. You’ll notch up just over 200 meters of climbing, mostly gentle undulations, so nothing too tough for regular cyclists.

As you get closer to Gol’yanovo, you’ll notice the city gives way to more open, residential neighborhoods and pockets of leafy parks. Gol’yanovo itself is one of Moscow’s largest districts, nestled on the edge of Losiny Ostrov National Park—a great spot if you want to extend your ride into nature!
