This cycling route takes you from the cozy urban village of Kotsiubynske, skirting the western edge of Kyiv, straight into the vibrant heart of Ukraine’s capital. Covering nearly 25 km, the ride’s got just enough elevation (around 200 meters of ascent) to keep things interesting, but nothing too taxing for a casual cyclist.

You’ll cruise mostly along quiet roads and smooth asphalt cycleways—perfect for soaking in the scenery without battling too much traffic. Keep in mind, some segments have less-documented surfaces (possibly because you’ll pass through a mix of older neighborhoods and newer city fringes), but nothing strays far from decent pavement.

As you approach Kyiv, the city skyline gradually rises before you. By the time you reach downtown, you’ll be surrounded by Kyiv’s famous golden domes, leafy boulevards, and the buzz of city life.
