Starting in Budapest’s vibrant 11th district, you’ll quickly leave city life behind as you follow the Danube north. Most of your 35 km journey will be on smooth, paved cycle paths that hug the river—a true treat for anyone who loves riverside views and a gentle breeze.

The elevation is pretty manageable, with about 200 meters of ascent in total, making it accessible even for recreational riders. Most of the way is dedicated cycleway, so you can relax and enjoy the scenery, with only a couple of short sections on quiet roads.
