Bowling Green OH to Defiance OH

This was the kind of ride that one dreams of. Zero traffic on underused farm roads with relatively scenic fields and occasional houses and barns, a gale force tailwind, and lots of sunshine and comfortable temperatures.

With only exceptions when we left Bowling Green, when we got close to our hotel in Defiance, and when we crossed US Ft 24 pretty close to the end of the ride, we hardly saw any cars. What a pleasure. And the quality of the roads throughout was excellent.

The only problem was my wife's continued shoulder/back pain, which will cause us to end this tour when we pedal into Chicago next week.

During today and yesterday's ride, we've seen a number of bicycles may use full lane signs. This hasn't been all of Ohio; just this western portion. It says something nice about the local governments here.
