2016 Ride Day 117 - Tarbes to Barcus

The route on D936 west of Nay was, we believe, a first for us. It was great zero traffic road with really nice scenery. Overall, our route was excellent zero and low-traffic roads with the exception of when in or near the bigger towns. We were on N134 for just two very short periods, and we had some road shoulder. When we saw that the shoulder wouldn’t last, we chose to use D116 as a way to get into Oloron-Ste-Marie.

The road into our lodging for the evening (a chambres-d'hôtes) was one of the steepest we'd encountered.
