Hermiston - Port Kelly Out-and-Back

A really nice ride along the Columbia.

Head winds are typical when biking east, some can be quite strong, but at least you're rewarded with a fast ride home.

Little traffic, clean and smooth shoulders. There is a mile or so stretch on 730 that hugs the cliff walls with little choice but to bike on the tape or in the road. Not so bad since you can look back and wait for a break in vehicles.

Hoping to extend this ride farther and farther as the weather warms.
